About Podfeed
Podfeed combines storytelling, audio engineering, and AI research to make publishing podcasts effortless.
Podfeed began as a weekend experiment in early 2023 to transform web articles and PDFs into engaging audio that can be listened to hands-free while doing other tasks.
We investigated learning science concepts to understand how to make audio more effective for learning, and have since focused on optimizing the audio generation process for maximum retention impact.
Along the way we added a lot of customization features to help our users generate audio in a way that suits them best. We're also constantly exploring new text-to-speech (TTS) models available commercially and making them available to our users.
While today there are several copycats out there, we (and a lot of our users) still believe Podfeed offers the greatest selection of voices and languages, the greatest customization controls, and overall the best results.
